Things that Hurt:

Being unsure of how someone feels about you.
Feeling like they are mad at you.
Being misunderstood by people you care about.
Being judged by people you care about.
Feeling like you lost something that was never yours.
Feeling like you’re doing too much.
Thinking you aren’t doing enough.
Not knowing if you should say something.
Worried about what they’ll think if you do say it.
Feeling like you care more than they do.

There’s a story behind every person. There’s a reason why they’re the way they are. They aren’t just like that because they want to. Something in the past created them, and sometimes it’s impossible to fix them.
I’ve found that it’s a good thing to go through heartache at one point or another in your lifetime. Not the petty, childhood heartache. But the horrible kind we’ve experienced. But see, when you get to the healing part of this, you will have so much love to share with someone. You will be able to appreciate someone in ways even you cannot understand. You will be so much stronger than you were before. I know how much this sucks right now and I know it seems unfair, but when it’s all said and done with, this will all make sense. All this pain you are going through at this moment will eventually teach you some of the greatest lessons in life you will ever need to learn.
Everyone in your life is meant to be a part of your journey, but not all of them are bound to stay. Most often, you have to let people go.

Your guard is up and I know why
'Cause the last time you saw me
Is still burned in the back of your mind
You gave me roses and I left them there to die
So this is me swallowing my pride
Standing in front of you saying, "I'm sorry for that night"

Hey. Stuff happens. People will change. Your best friend will become your worst enemy. You will fall to pieces, and wish you never existed. You’ll have new regrets and new mistakes. You’ll fall in love, and he’ll break your heart. You’ll argue, and cry yourself to sleep. There will be some days when you can’t drag yourself out of bed. You’ll look in the mirror and hate what you see. But things will get better. Every time you fall down, you get back up. You grow up a little more with each mistake. And no matter how hard it may seem, remember that this is only a chapter of your life. Life goes on.

The sun will rise tomorrow. It always does, and all the wishing in the world for the way things were, or for what they could have been won’t change that. It won’t change how things are.
